Castlefields
This large modern image layout from Shrewsbury Past and Present MRS was photographed at the 2004 Warley NEC exhibition and is typical of the genre. It depicts no area in particular and operates mainly diesels with a variety of modern stock, from the BR blue period right up to today.

Castlefields station is the only major passenger interchange on the layout, its rather austere appearance is typical of that of many modern main line stations found across the network.

Oil traffic (above and below) on Castlefields can be seen at the depot and in the sidings, while on the main line a Class 37 (below) is seen hauling a trainload of motor vehicles.
